After the successful 2022 and 2023 edition, the Belgian Mountainbike Challenge (BeMC) stage race took a break in 2024. But we didn't want you to have a full year without BeMC, so on 31 August we are back with the BeMC Marathon - La Roche.

All Saints Day. For years avid mountainbikers had this day marked in their calendar as a sign to register for the Belgian Mountainbike Challenge. So it seems fit, on the day we honour the dead, to make an announcement on the future of the race. ![]()

After 12 years and 10 successful editions, we’ve decided BeMC had a good run and deserves to retire. It’s official, there will be no BeMC stage race in 2025. Is this the end of the race? Who knows what the future will bring? We might come back someday, try something different, or maybe we’ve stepped away for good on a high note. ![]()

But one thing is for sure, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported and participated in BeMC over the years, from volunteers and sponsors to each of our valued participants. Together, we’ve built an amazing event and created memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you all and until we meet again.

Special thanks also goes to the city of La Roche-en-Ardenne and Belgian Cycling to offer us the opportunity to organise the championships for the third time in 4 years! Maybe we will do it some time again in the future 😉. ![]()
